Love of self seems to come easily. Sometimes love of others can a challenge. In this prayer, we ask God’s help in that journey.

Preserve Christianity

I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me. Help us to preserve the hearts of my fellow-citizens from evil.

Unity

Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common.

Conducting effective prayer meetings

PRAYER governs conduct and conduct makes character. In Christ's teaching, it is not simply works of charity and deeds of mercy upon which He insists, but inward spiritual character. This much is demanded, and nothing short of it, will suffice.

Encouraging Christian Unity

All who are devoted to Christ the Lord, the only Son of the Father in Heaven, are one body, and are united in Him, regardless of labels, factions, and other human limitation. We declare this fundamental Christian unity and seek to encourage believers to act in the oneness He has given us.

Believe in God

We must let these truths of faith fill our soul until they change our life. God loves us! The Almighty who made heaven and earth! God is interested even in the smallest events in the lives of his creatures – in your affairs and mine – and he calls each of us by our name.
